Saturday Snapshot is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home With Books.

February - my favourite month of the year!
It's still summer, but starting to cool down a little.

It's my birthday month (along with so many family and friends it's ridiculous really!)

The new school year has just started and everyone is fresh and rested from the long break in routine. There's an optimism attached to the new school year that lingers from my own school days as well as from my teaching years.
I love the 'do-over' feel that goes along with a new school year.
The possibility, anticipation and hope!

One of the things we love to do at this time of the year is to go to the beach after work/school on Friday's to cool down...our beach of choice is Coogee Beach.
