Such a Sydney Christmas! I hope you had a lovely day. I really want to see the projections on St Mary's one year- they look great. We had a Christmas afternoon storm too. I can't believe you braved the boxing day sales! Or how big the Lego tree is.
ReplyDeleteSeems like most of NSW has had the storms this past couple of days. It's been lovely, but I'm ready for summer now!
DeleteThe Cathedral looks amazing. It looks stunning when it is just a normal day but the light show gives it a whole new dimension! The crowd for the sales looks intense and a bit too much for me since I don't like crowds.

I don't normally like crowds & I only lasted a few hours, but it was interesting & curious to see how some people behave st such times :-/
DeleteBoxing day? I have to look that up :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures! Christmas in the warm.....that would be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day!

Thank you for sharing your Christmas experiences. I'd love to see the light show at the cathedral. That must have been amazing! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

Your Boxing Day pic looks like what our Black Friday is here in the US!
ReplyDeleteThat Christmas Day storm looks dramatic! I hope it didn't cause any damage!
Yes I think it is a little like your Black Friday. I've never been into the city for it before. It was an interesting sociological experience! Once will definitely be enough though.
DeleteOY! Boxing Day looks to be a real crowd fest! Loved the window displays and the light show on the front of the cathedral! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all down under!
ReplyDeleteThe light show on the cathedral looks great. They seem to be the thing this year. Such a contrast in the weather.
ReplyDeleteJust 7 more weeks to Christmas 2016 and your foto's of Xmas in Sydney are getting me in the mood. It is so strange to see everyone in summer clothes....while I turn up the heat!
ReplyDeleteHope you have time to take some foto's for Xmas blogpost on The Four Seasons of Brona!
We drove past the David Jones windows last night on our way home from the Sculptures & noticed that their traditional Christmas window display was up and running....which means the 2016 Christmas post won't be far away :-)
