My local shopping centre started early with this tree. |

Myer spreading the word! |

My local Town Hall gets festive |
But my favourite every year is the HUGE tree spanning three floors in the Queen Victoria Building.
Any excuse to photograph this beautiful building works for me!

The Martin Place tree relayed messages of peace from our local mayor after Monday's seige tragedy |
And it wouldn't be Christmas in Sydney without the Christmas Bush in full bloom.
A very Merry Christmas to all my lovely
Saturday Snapshotters & all my Top 10 Sydney followers.
May the season bring you peace, joy and love.
Wow - beautiful decorations! My son would LOVE that LEGO display! :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Beth :)
I would love to see Sydney during the Christmas season. I loved looking through your photos even though it makes me miss an aussie xmas even more. The QVB building is beautiful every day but the tree and decorations make it even more stunning.

Monday's events were devastating, nice to see some lovely pictures of Sydney again. I hope you weren't nearby. I always like the QVB tree too. I like how we both photographed the charity reindeer sellers.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I wish we could keep the decorations up for a few months...LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Lovely Christmas photos! Those beautiful trees should be enough to make even the Scroogiest person feel the joy of the season.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
Very interesting decorations. I think my favourites are the lego tree and the beautiful silhouettes.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love that Lego Santa! It's so fun to see Christmas pics from Down Under. Up here in the Pacific Northwest of the US, we rarely have the picturesque White Christmas and we NEVER have a warm Christmas....instead, we get lots of gray rain.....Sunny Sidney sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant Sydney!
DeleteThey are all beautiful, but the Lego tree is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful display of wonderful trees. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteKeeping your city in my thoughts and prayers this week.
What a terrible few weeks one way and another, I feel like we are lurching from one Australian tragedy to another... We have all been stunned and shocked by events in Sydney this week - the outpouring of grief and flowers in Martin Place reminded me so much of Princess Diana's flowers...But it has brought out an amazing Australian spirit.
ReplyDeleteSo it is lovely to also see how Sydney celebrates Christmas, I was visiting a few days before and have certainly admired your Christmas tree in QV building I reckon it is amongst the best trees in the world don't you? Love the antler seller!
Happy Christmas

Great photos. My favorite is the Lego one.
