Back in Mudgee for the weekend. It's 40°C in the shade.
Thankfully we scheduled some pool time into our busy weekend!
Sunset over the Blue Mountains (near Little Hartley) on the drive up last night.
The clock tower in Church St. I love the wide, open streets right in the middle of town.
I've spent many happy hours over the years at Mudgee Swimming Pool. Lovely to now share it with Mr Seasons.
The next door neighbours!
The colours in the first photo are amazing - but ot looks so different to the Blu Mountain pictures Louise posted. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/KlsQMX
ReplyDeleteI hope you got the same cool change we did tonight. It's actually pleasant now. Great photos. So familiar- I love the Australian light. It's special.
ReplyDeleteOOH that is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSunsets the world over are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'll ever get to Australia, but you sure make me want to travel there. Great pics. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteI probably won't ever get to Australia, but I am loving the photos! Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove the neighbors! They look like they are running away.
ReplyDeleteThe light in the first photo is really effective. Orange mountains rather than blue!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely place to visit. I especially like the first photo. I'm a sucker for mountains and hills. Do I see correctly that the trees are blending with the rocks because of Fall color? It almost doesn't look real. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteActually it was the amazing colour of the sunset reflected on the sandstone cliffs and gum trees in the height of summer.
DeleteAh, Mudgee. It looks like a perfect spot to sit and breathe a bit.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Saturday Snapshot.
Hoping to get to Australia this year!
ReplyDeleteOh, I do long to visit Australia some day...until then, it's great to see your snapshot! They are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Beautiful sunset photo. This looks like a lovely place to visit -- quiet, beautiful scenery, and friendly next-door neighbors.

Wow! A bit hot in your neck of the woods! Still cold and raw in the Northern Hemisphere, but Spring is on the way! We had a bit of snow this past week ... think of snowflakes and maybe you'll cool down just a bit!
ReplyDeleteIts been a while since I have been to Mudgee but it looks almost the same. Its nice to see that some things don't change.
