Saturday Snapshot December 29th

Saturday Snapshot is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home With Books.

The rules are simple:

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

It wouldn't be summer in the coastal areas of Australia without the scent of frangipani.

Be at War with your Vices, at Peace with your Neighbours, and let every New-Year find you a better Man.
~Quoted in Benjamin Franklin's 1755 Poor Richard's Almanac, December

  3. I have heard of frangipani, but did not know it was a beautiful flower. (Ashamed to admit I thought it was something to do with marzipan.) It would be great if smells could come through the computer wires.

  4. The flower does look like it's made of spun sugar, so in that way it must be related to marzipan. Thanks for educating those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. Here's Mine

  8. Beautiful...thanks. I would much rather be looking at these out my window instead of six inches of snow.

Stop by my blog for a snowy photo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
