The rules are
simple:
To participate in the
Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have
taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be
old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for
all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you.
Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
I was pretty pleased with myself for capturing this shot of a bee in action!
His little bottom was quivering with delight. And when he finally came up for air, he looked around drunkenly before stumbling onto the next flower.
That's a lovely shot, it's always nice to see insects in action.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is a busy little bee. Nice detail too.
ReplyDeleteWow, great close-up! It sounds like he must have hit the pollen jackpot ;)
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot! I was so fascinated with bees after reading The Secret Life of Bees. This is an award-winning pic. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great close-up shot of a bee! So far I haven't been successful in capturing a good close-up of a bee. They just won't sit still long enough for me. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should have seen all the dud shots I had to take to get this one good one!!
Deletethat's a pretty impressive shot, when I had a bee problem and they took over my backyard, I didn't dare get to close... Book Savvy Babe

ReplyDeleteMy (First) Saturday Snapshot
WOW! This is a gorgeous shot and I'm so glad you shared it. I haven't seen a bee up that close...it almost looks cute and fuzzy (you have to excuse me, I'm extraordinarily frightened of them!). Just wonderful. :D Here's my simple shot for today: http://zaraalexis.wordpress.com/2012/09/08/saturday-snapshot-09-08-2012/
ReplyDeleteThat's a great capture! Reminds me of one I managed on a trip to the Boundary Waters with my son and his Scout Troop. I didn't even know I had a bee in it until I looked at the photos later.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Saturday Snapshot.
He's actually perfect. You should be very proud of yourself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo. Those little guys are so interesting to watch. My camera is MIA this weekend, so I am only browsing or should I say" lurking" at everyone else's.
