Saturday Snapshot 8th September

Saturday Snapshot is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home With Books.

The rules are simple:

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

I was pretty pleased with myself for capturing this shot of a bee in action!
His little bottom was quivering with delight. And when he finally came up for air, he looked around drunkenly before stumbling onto the next flower.

  9. That's a great close-up shot of a bee! So far I haven't been successful in capturing a good close-up of a bee. They just won't sit still long enough for me. :)

  16. WOW! This is a gorgeous shot and I'm so glad you shared it. I haven't seen a bee up that close...it almost looks cute and fuzzy (you have to excuse me, I'm extraordinarily frightened of them!). Just wonderful. :D Here's my simple shot for today: http://zaraalexis.wordpress.com/2012/09/08/saturday-snapshot-09-08-2012/

  17. That's a great capture! Reminds me of one I managed on a trip to the Boundary Waters with my son and his Scout Troop. I didn't even know I had a bee in it until I looked at the photos later.

    Here's my Saturday Snapshot.

  19. What a wonderful photo. Those little guys are so interesting to watch. My camera is MIA this weekend, so I am only browsing or should I say" lurking" at everyone else's.
