7 years ago, my husband and I had our first romantic holiday away together.
We chose Cable Beach Resort in Broome.
It was pure magic from start to finish.
By the end of the holiday we both knew that we had something pretty special going on.
Cable Beach Resort also set the standard by which we judge all other resort holidays.

Saturday
Snapshot is a meme hosted by
Alyce at At Home With
Books.
The rules are simple:
To participate in the
Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have
taken and leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be
old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for
all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you.
Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
Oh what a fabulous glimpse of Broome, the blue of that water is so gorgeous! What lovely memories you must have of that trip.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful holiday, and I can see why it set the standard! Enjoy many more....and thanks for sharing.

Love the camel ride photo! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place. Love the camel ride caravan! Thanks for the little break, in photos, from the cold, damp weather.
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to Broome. I'm far far away from it, but your photos show me what a beautiful place it is. Thanks for the virtual tour. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful adventure. I love all of your photos, but especially "the adult pool".
ReplyDeleteWe had never stayed anywhere with an adults only pool before (the family friendly pool was on the other side of the resort). It was divine, so relaxing and quite decadent.
DeleteSeveral times during the afternoon a lovely young man came around with cold washers so we could cool our faces and a cocktail list to tempt us.
It was hard to leave!
obligatory sunset camel ride? That's different, but definitely sounds like fun. You got some great shots, looks like a wonderful, beautiful time. Book Savvy Babe
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a wonderful vacation spot! I love the camels and their shadows.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love the camels - did you actually ride one? No Snapshot from me this week, because I only got back from Mum's yesterday, but I like to see what everyone is doing!
