Over the years, we've had some wonderful family holidays in the snow.
Snow Angels at Thredbo 2006
The current cold snap in Sydney feels like snow.
Since it feels like snow (without any of the joys of being so cold), I will warm myself with some happy memories instead!
I'm not a skier.
I prefer to spend my days treking though the snow, drinking hot chocolate and taking pics of the family being active!
Snow cat at Falls Creek 2007
Approaching Falls Creek 2008
There they go, the brave adventurers!
We make a snowman every year, but this one from 2008 is my personal favourite.
Guthega 2009
Blue Cow 2010 - trying to master the jump!
Snapshot Saturday is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home With Books.
The rules are simple:

Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
Great pictures of snow. I love the icicle photo. Red against white looks great. Thanks for stopping by! Regarding remote cars. I wondered the purpose of the remote control cars too! I think theu are used to retrieve javelins, discuses etc from the field.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, haha I like that snowman too!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the picture with the car and the foot of snow on top of it. I'd like to think snow too as we are in our 3rd month of over 90 degree temperatures. We've used the air conditioner a lot this summer, which we don't usually do. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteI love the snow images in August -- it's been so hot here. Love the vehicle shot on the snow covered road:)
ReplyDeleteDelhi is ALWAYS hot. So I loved looking at the snow pictures!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Seeing snow pictures in August is always a good reminder that the other hemisphere has different seasons, but certainly doesn't make me long for winter. Love the icicles and your very cute snowman.
ReplyDeleteSince it is very hot here, I am especially enjoying the snow shots! Thanks...and I, too, love looking at photos of snow and remembering happy times.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
I like that snowman! And the shot of the trees is beautiful. On our hottest days, I think longingly of colder climes.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots ... and during our current dry heatwave, they are a welcome reminder of wintertime chill and water (snow!) ... looks like it was a fun vacation! The snowman attests to that!
ReplyDeleteReally neat! It has only snowed once here in Texas in the last 4 - 5 years, I am hoping it does again soon. There are small divides between seasons here, and I am getting a little tired of it!
ReplyDeleteCome see my snapshot for today.
What a great snowman! It's been so hot here lately... your photos are a welcome relief.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun reminder for us northerners that it's winter in the southern hemisphere!
ReplyDeleteso much snow, what wonderful memories! I haven't been skiing in years, I think I would prefer to drink hot chocolate and take pictures too :) Book Savvy Babe
ReplyDeleteThe snowman is fabulous. And I love those huge icicles.
ReplyDeleteI love the character in that snowman. Very fun and creative!
ReplyDeleteGood photos and I also love that snowcreature. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I could use some cooling off!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful family memories! I love your snowman too, and the icicles at Guthega. I'm not a skier either. I was always so much better at apres skiing. Actually I really want to go to Thredbo in the summer one time, I have a friend who goes every year and it looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are perfect for our hottest, most humid day so far this summer! Thanks for a breather! Here's a link to my photo: http://barbarathehealthynut.blogspot.com/2012/07/gone-hikin.htm
